Lower East Side seafood stalwart, Grey Lady, is handing out free soup to the community today.

Their chef, Tadd Johnson, spent all week cooking a whopping 30 gallons of various soups. Apparently there are two walk-in refrigerators brimming with “proteins and produce” from both Grey Lady and sister establishment Canary Club.

Options include broccoli-cheddar, potato leek mushroom, and a seafood Manhattan chowder.

Those in need can head over to 77 Delancey Street between 1pm and 5pm.
