The Wonders to Honor Adam Schlesinger with ‘That Thing You Do’ Reunion Tonight

The sudden death of Adam Schlesinger due to COVID-19 not only had Fountains of Wayne fans reeling, but also those of the lesser known Wonders (aka Oneders) the breakout band from the 1996 hit film That Thing You Do!

Their hit song of the same name was, after all, composed by Schlesinger himself.

As it were, the four-piece is getting the band back together in his honor tonight.

Tom Everett Scott (drummer Guy Patterson) tweeted: “Calling all Oneders fans!! Join the band and special guests for a LIVE #ThatThingYouDo watch party in support of @MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund this Friday, April 17 at 7pmEsT/4pmPST on our YouTube channel.”

The Zoom conversation starts tonight at 7pm EST.
