Three Arrested in Early-Morning Drug Bust at Gompers Houses

Police forces raided a Lower East Side apartment building early Friday morning, cuffing three men and seizing a large quantity of drugs and guns, the 9th Precinct reported.

Anthony Lopez, 29, of West 143rd Street in Manhattan, Gregory Bell, 23, of White Plains Road in the Bronx, and Kaylin Quidone, 18, of Jackson Street on the Lower East Side were arrested in the 3:00am raid at the Gompers Houses (70 Pitt Street).

Officers from the NYPD Field Intelligence Unit uncovered a stash of cocaine and heroin in an apartment at the NYCHA complex, as well as $9,000 in cash and assorted ammunition.

The three perps face charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a weapon, and tampering with physical evidence.
