‘Tre’ on Ludlow Street Shares Images of Robbery Aftermath, Promises to Bounce Back
Tre, the popular Italian restaurant on Ludlow Street, is literally picking up the pieces after a violent burglary late last month.
A serial burglar, wanted in connection with more than a dozen commercial break-ins citywide, visited the Lower East Side the night of April 28, and busted into both Tre and Sakamai. From the former, the perp picked the lock to gain entry and grabbed $300 from the til, plus $1,000 in liquor.
Tre shared the following photos of the immediate aftermath, as well as rebirth. Its staff returned to build it back.
