International Center of Photography to Reopen Next Week
The International Center of Photography is reopening in one week.
Sidelined for more than six months (almost immediately after its debut at Essex Crossing), the 40,000 square-foot museum and school is making its galleries and gift shop accessible to the public. On tap are four exhibitions to “address this tumultuous time, marked by the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, economic and political crises, and the rise of antiracist and antiauthoritarian movements around the world.”
Education and public programming will remain online for the time being.
Visiting restrictions are similar to what’s been seen with other galleries throughout the city – reserved time entry tickets, thirty minute intervals, to be purchased online only. More info on protocol and hours of operation can be found here.
Opening day is October 1.
