Davidovich Bakery Opens New Bakery on Clinton Street
Davidovich Bakery is no longer just a stall in the Essex Market. Nor a counter in the Blue Moon Hotel.
The twenty-two-year-old business recently expanded in a big way with a standalone brick-and-mortar bakery. It took the spot previously occupied by Bricia on Clinton Street, and opened a few weeks ago.
Founded in 1998 as a family business, Davidovich Bakery specializes in wholesale baked goods, such as bagels and pastries. They “craft Davidovich Bagels based on old recipes passed down to us from our grandparents.”
The spot formerly housed Bricia for three years, albeit open to the public for one. It closed in August 2019 after seizure by City Marshals. And before that, it was Marm Cafe.
