Get Ready for this Synagogue-Adjacent Condo on Clinton Street

A longtime synagogue alleyway on Clinton Street is primed for development. Plywood and scaffolding are firmly place outside Congregation Chasam Sofer, but serious progress is still not visible.

Developer Andres Hogg of Hogg Holdings purchased the property (aka 10 Clinton Street) in October 2017 for $4.1 million. The plan now is to drop a six-story glass box onto the narrow parcel. Here is a rendering of the new arrival:

Department of Buildings approved plans and issued permits for the 65-foot luxury development last year. The newcomer – touting the official address of 14 Clinton – will boast eight condo units splitting 6,430 square-feet. Roughly 1,479 square-feet is earmarked for commercial use. Owners will have access to storage units, laundry, a bicycle room, fitness center, and rooftop recreation area.

Fischer+Makooi Architect is on board for design duties.
