OddFellows Ice Cream Not Returning to the Lower East Side

Six years on the Lower East Side, but frozen out by coronavirus, Brooklyn-based OddFellows ice cream won’t be reopening here.
Both of its downtown ice cream parlors – on East 4th Street (2014) and the East Houston newcomer (2018) – shuttered at the outset of the pandemic lockdown late March.
When asked if OddFellows would return, ownership stated simply, “Unfortunately not.”
The two Brooklyn outposts of the small-batch ice cream company, which launched in 2013, remain open for pickup and delivery.
