Next Phase of Market Line at Essex Crossing Now Visible

Posted on: January 21st, 2021 at 12:00 pm by

With scaffolding and other construction elements removed from The Artisan building at Essex Crossing, another part of the Market Line is coming into focus.

Unlike the westernmost third of the Market Line, this section beneath 180 Broome Street feels less like a dungeon. Design elements, including massive grand staircase and full facade glass open the basement to natural light. Or, as designer Handel Architects notes, “The full height glazing of the ground floor establishes visual connections between interior and exterior greenscape.”

The walls are pinstriped with floor-to-ceiling light.

No word yet on launch timing for this side of the Market Line.
