Essex Street Snowman Resurrected for Another Adventure

For the second time in as many months, the Essex Street Snowman is back on the prowl. Resurrected for another Lower East Side adventure.

The near-two-feet of snow dropped by the storm earlier this week provided enough building material for the portly creature. Complete with beer bottle nose, traffic cone hat, and Gatorade eyes.

The Shan Fu bodega has spent the last ten years building these enormous snowmen, as we’ve chronicled. It’s a marketing stunt that brings lots of attention to the business, especially via social media posts.
