Asian Man Pummeled Outside East Broadway Station in Latest Biased Attack
Cops said the 56-year-old victim was entering the F train station – the Rutgers Street entrance by Woo’s Wonton King – at about 8:50pm when he was clocked in the face. The perp didn’t say anything to the man, according to police.
The victim dropped to the ground and hit his head, but the attacker continued pummeling him, authorities said. He sustained moderate injuries, including black eye, cut lip, and hematoma to the back of his head.
The suspect fled into the train station. Police released a surveillance photo to garner help from the public.
