You may have seen the parade of fire engines along eastbound Delancey Street on Tuesday night. Firefighters rescued a 23-year-old man who fell from his Ludlow Street window onto scaffolding.
The man reportedly fell from a window of 81 Ludlow Street at around 8:30pm. It’s unclear which floor he fell from.
Initial reporting indicated that the victim had been “stuck between two buildings.” However, FDNY personnel retrieved him from the second-floor scaffolding.
Cops said that the victim was conscious at the time of recovery, and that his injuries were not life-threatening. He was transferred to the hospital for further evaluation.
