Bagel Boss Headed to Former OddFellows on East Houston
A Long Island bagel institution is expanding with a new outpost in Little Italy.
Bagel Boss, the half-century old bakery, this week planted a sign at 55 East Houston Street, in the store formerly occupied by OddFellows. Its presence presents competition to the trendy Black Seed Bagels just a few blocks south on Elizabeth Street.
The new outpost is further confirmed on its website. As is a new location on 14th Street in the East Village.
Bagel Boss is family owned, and was founded in 1976 in Hicksville, Long Island. Over the decades, the business grew to include stores numbering a baker’s dozen.
