Shuttered GrandLo Cafe Becomes Community Resource Center at Essex Crossing

GrandLo Cafe might be done, but its service to the community is not.

Under the same moniker, the short-lived coffee shop at 178 Broome, which permanently closed last year at the outset of the pandemic, has since been reincarnated as a community neighborhood center.

And its latest endeavor is free COVID-19 testing, happening twice per week for the foreseeable future.
