Shattered dreams on Orchard Street yesterday. Long story short, the car ended up inside the store, Blues Brothers style.

Shortly before 4:00pm, police responded to a call about a Toyota Camry (with Virginia plates) that barreled through the glass storefront of 37 Orchard Street. Ending up in the showroom of area newcomer November 19, a chic home goods store which must now pick up the literal pieces.

No one was injured in the incident.

The 25-year-old man behind the wheel remained at the scene, and, purportedly, was not intoxicated. Cause of the crash is still under investigation.
