Picking up ‘Langos’ on Rivington Street
The owner of Ginger and Lemongrass expanded with a new restaurant. Its second on Rivington Street and a complete departure.
Last month, Petra Rickman debuted Langos at 137 Rivington. Inside the sub-grade space that last housed Otaku Katsu, which was a victim of the pandemic.
Langos is a cafe inspired by Central European (Czech Republic, Hungary, Germany) street food, with its namesake being the signature dish; it’s a fried flatbread dough with variety of fresh toppings. They also serve Spaetzles, fruit dumplings, and other vegetarian options.
