It’s been two years since the frat-friendly Señor Swanky’s shuttered its Village location at 142 Bleecker Street. In that timeframe, the space suffered from neglect of the highest order. The yellow brick became a magnet for graffiti, while the interior languished behind windows caked with gunk. But as of yesterday, there is movement anew.

Bar Henry has been serving libations out of 90 West Houston since last November. In recent days, however, the bistro-slash-wine cellar finally added a more official sidewalk presence.

The Law & Order franchise is back in the neighborhood today for the gazillionth time. NBC film crews will occupy the Bleecker Street real estate between Lafayette and Laguardia Place for the shoot.

Go directly to jail. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200. Spotted in one of the usual tall trash heaps on West Houston near LaGuardia Place. Just curious, how many of you played with Snake Eyes rules and Free Parking jackpot?
