Blessed Peacemakers simply couldn’t survive at 149 Ludlow Street. Nearly its entire two-year existence was spent in the shadows of scaffolding. Ironwork and netting from the constant construction on both flanks obstructed the store, and undoubtedly contributed to their demise. Dolce Vita and Some Odd Rubies on Ludlow Street together hit a similar retail trajectory. Both relocated from their longtime headquarters, and both were replaced by like-minded shops in a New York minute.
