Here’s something to get excited about. The recently-reopened Chinatown Fair is no longer the only game in town, so to speak. Some new competition is on deck for 153 Essex Street.

Just as Subway was installing its monstrosity of a backlit storefront awning last week, the Triple 5 Soul pop-up shop next door began packing up its inventory.
