We clearly remember the night Rob Shamlian and Frank Vivolo held an informational sesh outside Rosario’s Pizza regarding the raw bar concept for 167 Orchard Street (aka 87 Stanton).

On June 16, 2010, the burlesque hotspot Slipper Room closed its doors for the last time as a one-story performance venue at 167 Orchard. Two years later, and it’s almost ready to launch.

Today we turn our collective eye back to the northwest corner of Stanton and Orchard Street, where the new Slipper Room is just a few furlongs from the finish line.

All the commotion of boom lifts, film personnel, and extras are part of a new commercial being filmed for the UK television network/satellite broadcasting company.
