As we first reported last month, Danny Bowien is planning something new for the old Noodle Bar space at 172 Orchard Street. Some sort of Mexican concept.

The Chickie Pig’s pizzeria has been out of commission for two years now. In that time, the space remained dormant, and all available window real estate was dedicated to promoting the storefront rental. But now it appears the drought is finally over at 121 Ludlow Street.
