Four months after the official announcement, Bread has reopened around the corner from its original location. Community uproar was in no short supply back in 2010 as the Nolitan hotel quickly rose at the corner of Kenmare and Elizabeth Streets.

The sudden bout of action at the Nolitan after months without had us again wondering of this two-years-in-the-making Nolitan hotel project would ever open its doors.

Ladies and gentlemen, behold the bare broadside of The Nolitan at 30 Kenmare Street, Little Italy’s latest trendy hotel monstrosity. The last remnants of scaffolding and rotten plywood are no longer in the picture. Just some odds-and-ends sidewalk fencing.

Since last summer, the Nolitan has made local headlines for its gross violation of zoning restrictions in a protected district.
