Parkside Lounge now has official community backing for its rooftop expansion. Apparently Norah Jones performed an intimate gig with her new band last night at the Parkside Lounge. We are told she was working out material with a new band. The performance was likely related to her new duet album with Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Foreverly, which dropped yesterday.

We’ve definitely reached the saturation point with regard to neighborhood crowdfunding projects. A zillion collection pots are simultaneously going around these days.
