Late last week, the new condo tower at 60 Orchard Street worked one final striptease before giving up the pole for good. The process of removing netting, wood beams, and scaffolding began Thursday.

Now that work has been reactivated at 60 Orchard Street, signs of progress are clearly visible from street level. As crews clear out the mangled ground level of this four-story brick building, up above, new steel beams are poking through the roof.
