Great news! In sum, three Manhattan buildings were landmarked at yesterday’s Landmarks Preservation Committee public meeting. The former Loew’s Canal Theatre at 31 Canal Street, the 141-year-old cast-iron 97 Bowery, and the Eleventh Street Methodist Episcopal Chapel between Avenues A and B.
