2010 is truly the perfect time to be an exterminator, what with bedbugs practically ruling the streets of Manhattan. It seems almost every week another department store, movie theater, or government office building is infected by the itchy-scratchy critters. We just received a dispatch from a reader regarding the evacuation of 85 Pitt Street last night. Apparently the building was cleared by firefighters after a “noxious” smell was discovered.
