Berkli Parc is reportedly ending operations this weekend after nearly seven years at the corner of Allen and Delancey Streets. We are told that the landlord bought out the remainder of the cafe’s lease, and that a fire sale is planned for Saturday. Those teaser signs we spotted early last month were correct. A taste of the Bay Area is indeed coming to the southwestern corner of Allen and Delancey. The prime real estate at the southwest corner of Allen and Delancey is to become a cafe tentatively called Berkli Parc Cafe. The news is not too surprising, though, considering the recent positioning of other upscale restaurants near this particular intersection (e.g. Sorella, White Slab Palace).
