East Houston Roadwork to Begin with Test Pits

Preliminary preparations for the large-scale East Houston capital works project are now underway (project #HWMP2019). Flyers along the thoroughfare indicate that the Department of Design and Construction (DDC) will be punching so-called “Test Pits” in the pavement between Chrystie and Pitt Street by mid-September.
