There is Still Hope for 206 Bowery

In the weeks since fresh Marshal eviction papers were served at 208 Bowery, Yasakart has been operating its business in the ground level of the embattled Federal-style house at 206.  The move was made official with an awning swap in mid-August.

Just a tad over a year in business, and Fat Hippo at 71 Clinton Street seems to be in some hot water.  City Marshals served an eviction notice to the restaurant sometime yesterday.

Collective Hardware at 169 Bowery Faces Eviction

Indeed.  The New York Post is reporting this morning that the beloved Collective Hardware at 169 Bowery is facing eviction.  City Marshals reportedly shut down the five-floor arts space last Wednesday, padlocking the doors closed.  Is this the proverbial end of the road? [Photo Credit: hobokenvie]
