A Plea to Ludlow Litterbugs

It appears the student residents of the Ludlow Residence have taken a stand against neighborhood litterbugs.  Two saplings outside the gargantuan structure are adorned with urban etiquette signage, written in the point of view of the flora.

Baruch College to Dorm in Ludlow Residence

According to The Ticker, the Baruch College newspaper, the CUNY school will share the Ludlow Residence with the School of Visual Arts.  Students will reportedly have the opportunity to live at 101 Ludlow starting fall semester 2010, which “provides the opportunity to partake in the traditional college experience.”

In recent days, the Ludlow Residence penitentiary was officially initiated into the Lower East Side. Five floors up, the building finally has its first visible graffito. It only took about a year. Scrubbing that off the facade will be quite the task.

Dorm Update: Not Quite There

While the rest of the dorm is still under construction, the T-Mobile outpost in the Ludlow Residence will reportedly open for business today. Nothing too exciting. A Tree Grows on Ludlow
