Nothing to see here. Just a casual daytime garbage fire burning on a hot summer afternoon outside the Irving Farm coffee shop on Orchard Street. With The Knick stationed at Orchard and Broome Streets, current Lower East Siders can live in a turn-of-the-century setting, complete with dirt roads, horses, and pushcarts. Seeing the 88 Orchard coffee shop listed on the SLA agenda for next week’s Community Board 3 meeting was certainly interesting. Especially since their current wine and beer license is active through November 30, 2013.
