245 Bowery Restaurant Gains Sidewalk Shed

245 Bowery is now sporting some new skin at the corner of Prince street.  For the last couple days, a team of tool-wielders have been building a pair of new sidewalk sheds. Now work can continue unabated behind closed doors.

New Visual of Future Slipper Room at 167 Orchard

Demolition of the one-story 167 Orchard Street, which began last month, seems to be in its final stages.  Next up is the construction of a new headquarters for the Slipper Room.  And thanks to a new rental banner affixed to the scaffolding, we now have a clear idea of what to expect.

The Doghouse Saloon Has Closed for Good

Well, well. That was a quick run for the Doghouse Saloon at 152 Orchard Street. Guess the free hot dog and beer pong gimmick didn’t work.  A mere nine months into existence and the branded bar is history. Last night, workers were outside scraping the brick facade bare.  And the Annex nameplate was finally removed!

Chris Santos Chooses 146 Essex for New Restaurant

Boogie commenter Pete helps us piece together the location of Chris Santos’ latest nightlife venture.  It appears as though the Stanton Social owner chose the old M. Katz & Sons real estate at 146 Essex Street, which is currently undergoing the necessary renovations.

Will It Be a Happy Ending at 302 Broome?

Town Tavern on West 3rd Under New Management
