For 245 Broome Street, the operative word is renovations. Both storefronts at this beautiful turn-of-the-century tenement have undergone a complete metamorphosis in the last year.

Storefront preparations at 145 Orchard Street are now complete. Just shy of a month after installing its signage and company flag at the short-lived home of NY Wax Boutique, Seleven Gallery is now open to the public.

Bay Ridge-based Little Cupcake Bakeshop is now ready for the masses at 30 Prince Street. After months of renovations, the tagged-to-death plywood was peeled away and removed late last week, revealing a fresh whitewashed facade and striped wraparound awnings. The cupcakery soft-opened last night for treats and cocktails.
