Just as the Leadbelly oyster house is getting started down on Orchard Street (it opened yesterday), team Fat Radish is already looking to develop its next Lower East Side project.

The Fat Radish is nearly two years in the making at 17 Orchard Street. Over the weekend, new signage was painted on the marquee, and the curtains of brown paper were finally removed to reveal the new restaurant. Indeed, Friday night was a soft opening for the restaurant, which hasn’t really spread the word much.
