This amazing Spider-Man saved the subway not long ago, dancing in tights for noontime straphangers in the depths of the Delancey Street station. Music was pumping, the subway platform his stage. So beloved was the performance that the token collection bucket brimmed with cash. Meanwhile, Rickshaw Spidey was nowhere to be found.

World NYC was a sub-level streetwear spot that opened at 187 Chrystie Street in 2006. It featured classic kicks, hoodies, and cardigans. But their fortune did not last, and the boutique closed up shop last year. Now the space is poised to become a pilates studio.
