Straphanger Struck by Bowery J Train Last Night

At roughly 11 pm last night, emergency responders descended upon the JZ subway entrance at the corner of Bowery and Delancey. An unidentified victim was reportedly pinned under a southbound train, but was rather quickly removed from the scene. Jumper Reported at Rivington and Columbia

Scanner handles across the Tweetscape are reporting on a suicide that transpired not too long ago near the corner of Rivington and Columbia Streets. The jumper did not survive the fall, and was pronounced DOA.  A crime scene is reportedly established around the perimeter. More info as it develops…
