Sanitation crews waited over a week before snatching the large-screen boob-tube. In that time, the sidewalk-hogging unit became a target for graffiti artists and those seeking to destroy shit.

Pick of the Litter: Television Trashed

It would appear that thrill-seeking hooligans got to this ginormous trashed television before the Department of Sanitation.  Electronic innards were shattered and scattered across the sidewalk near the corner of Eldridge and Stanton Streets.
