Assembly New York Moving to 170 Ludlow

It’s another neighborhood boutique shuffle.  Two weeks ago, TG170 danced on down to 77 Ludlow Street, at the corner of Broome.  Now, with the bed still warm and cozy, as it were, its old headquarters at 170 Ludlow is gaining a new storefront business…from just up the block.

In the “About Us” section of their website, longtime Ludlow threads shop TG170 proudly proclaims that it was the first boutique to pioneer the badlands of the Lower East Side in 1992.  While that claim might be debatable, they are now long-run victims of the monster they helped create, so to speak.
