Not a normal sight outside the Thompson LES the other night. Those are actually plainclothes cops shoving arrested dudes into the back of an undercover taxi.

Landbrot Bakery & Bar was evicted/departed due to Hell Building construction last week. Now its immediate neighbor to the north is also donezo. Lots of turnover on the Orchard Street front of the Thompson LES.

Eviction papers were served to Landbrot Bakery & Bar last week. Shortly thereafter, the owners replaced the docs with an announcement to customers describing the reasons for closure.
