Three years after its uphill struggle to install a location at 86 Kenmare, Toby’s Public House is kaput. From the outside, the restaurant looks fairly complete. Neons have been bolted to the brick exterior of 86 Kenmare Street since the end of summer, and the marquee boasts new-but-weathered looking namesake lettering.

Last night was the big push by Toby’s Public House to meet the neighbors face-to-face. It wasn’t pretty, and tempers nearly flared.
