Saturday afternoon, a flatbed truck carrying an interesting bright red vehicle was parked alongside the median between East Houston and First Street, near First Avenue.  Its presence was conspicuous and virtually unavoidable – the perfect eye candy.

In this down economy, it seems that traffic cops are issuing more blocking-the-box tickets compared to years past. Especially on Delancey during the morning rush, where we’ve witnessed two such citations in the last week alone.
