Yesterday evening, during the late day rush, a flatbed truck physically came into contact with the never-ending East Houston Reconstruction project. This was the scene on Broome Street yesterday afternoon after a truck reportedly backed into some scaffolding. Yellow crime scene tape was strung across most of the block between Eldridge and Forsyth Streets. Oops. All was cleared by nightfall.
