The Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation (GVSHP) is now accusing the city, city council speaker Christine Quinn, and BP Scott Stringer of collectively allowing this questionably legal development to happen in the first place.

There are now signs of life in the upper reaches of the Trump SoHo monstrosity. Guess somebody finally flipped the light switch. Meanwhile, Scoopy reports that a ground-level tiki bar is currently in the works, and that the “condotel” is just a few months from opening.

Walking along Spring Street yesterday afternoon, we caught a quick glimpse of progress at the behemoth Trump SoHo, up close and personal. Looks like the lobby is starting to take shape. Glass, glass, and more glass.
